IKKI SEISAN is KIRIU's unique manufacturing method: “Once a part is picked up, it is not set down until it is completed, finishing it in one continuous flow”. As a technology-proposing company, KIRIU's defining characteristic is its integrated system encompassing everything necessary for product manufacturing—from planning and development to design, production engineering, and production equipment. KIRIU's manufacturing is to maximize the potential of “IKKI SEISAN” across the entire group to meet our customers' needs!
Brake discs are essential as “critical safety components” that safeguard vehicle safety. They efficiently slow and stop the rotation of the wheels, working in tandem with brake pads to deliver precise braking force. Crafted from high-precision materials resistant to high temperatures and wear, they provide stable performance over extended periods. As a key element in accident prevention and safe driving, they are indispensable parts for vehicle operation. They form part of the trust that enables worry-free driving enjoyment, supporting daily safety.

The Sales Department is responsible for securing orders for parts for new vehicle models and conducts sales activities in collaboration with Development and Production Engineering. Rather than cold calling, we focus on long-term projects by building strong, trust-based relationships with our customers. We remain continuously involved from six months to two years prior to receiving an order, and after receiving an order, we continue through prototyping, mass production launch, price adjustments, and payment collection. We aim to become a long-term partner for our customers by bundling technology, quality, and reliability through cross-departmental team sales, rather than individual efforts.

The Marketing Department identifies both explicit and latent customer needs, then organizes and shares this information clearly within the company to establish the foundation and entry point for sales activities. We will continuously monitor market, customer, and competitor trends to broaden future business options for the growth of the entire group. Additionally, through information dissemination, we enhance the recognition and trust in the Kiriu brand, playing a role in supporting the creation of the company's future.
The Development Department supports a vehicle’s stopping power by developing brake discs that combine performance, safety, and reliability. Brake discs, critical components directly linked to a vehicle’s driving safety, require precise and advanced technology throughout the entire process—from material selection and design to thermal analysis and durability testing. Our department is divided into three groups: Design, Preliminary/Analysis, and Testing. Based on CAE analysis and experimental evaluation, we design products that meet diverse requirements such as lightweight construction, high durability, and reduced noise and dust. We are also actively advancing initiatives for next-generation mobility, such as EVs and autonomous vehicles, focusing on development that balances both environmental performance and safety.

In the casting process, molten metal is poured into a sand mold called a casting mold at high temperatures, then cooled and solidified to produce castings ready for machining. We consist of the Manufacturing Department, which supports production; the Production Engineering Department, responsible for quality maintenance, process optimization, and the introduction of the latest equipment; and the Casting Maintenance Department, responsible for equipment repair and upkeep. Each department works hand in hand to deliver high-quality products to our customers.

The brake discs we primarily manufacture are extremely important components responsible for the vehicle’s ability to stop. Our department is responsible for ensuring the quality of our products so that not only our direct customers but also the drivers who actually operate the vehicles can have complete peace of mind. In addition to evaluating functional factors such as material, dimensions, and appearance, we also carry out various variability analyses to enhance driving comfort. As measuring equipment and inspection methods continue to evolve, it is essential to keep up with the latest information. We also play a role in monitoring the operation of our quality assurance system, including milestone management during new product launches and quality control in mass production processes. We carry out these tasks collaboratively as a team to earn our clients’ trust. This is also a workplace where you can gain a variety of insights and skills by improving efficiency through your own ideas.
The Human Resources and General Affairs Department is the division that supports the foundation of corporate activities by creating an environment where employees can work with peace of mind and perform to their fullest potential.
Its responsibilities cover a broad range of areas, including recruitment, human resource development, the planning and implementation of personnel systems, labor relations management, employee benefits, and general affairs operations.
Based on the fundamental principle of “Compliance First,” we are strengthening internal control activities to support sound corporate management across the entire group.
The Corporate Planning Department is responsible for a wide range of activities, including developing medium- to long-term growth strategies, managing costs, and supporting our business locations.
We support the entire company with a solid perspective, driving the development of forward-looking plans and ensuring their steady execution.
The Profit Management Department is responsible for accurately monitoring and managing KIRIU’s financial status. Through daily bookkeeping, fundraising, financial closing, tax compliance, profit planning, and profit analysis, we provide the information necessary for management decisions and support KIRIU’s sound corporate operations.
The Business Reform Promotion Department is a core division that supports group-wide cost improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening the cost competitiveness of our manufacturing operations.
By collaborating with manufacturing sites, engineering and development functions, and group companies, we aim to establish a sustainable and competitive operating structure.
We are also responsible for essential business functions, including the maintenance of critical system infrastructure, system development, and initiatives to improve operations through digital transformation.
At the IKKI SEISAN Promotion Department, we are promoting the development of on-site supervisors—the leaders at our domestic and overseas locations—with the aim of strengthening on-site management and 5S activities, which form the foundation of manufacturing. Experienced supervisors and instructors who have long led KIRIU’s manufacturing operations provide OJT (On-the-Job Training) by directly observing actual worksites and equipment, sharing their vision of what on-site management should be. By overcoming language and cultural differences and focusing on the key concepts of improvement and standardization, each site proactively drives its own initiatives, striving to build more resilient and efficient production environments.
